God The Father called Jesus Christ God:
• Hebrews 1:8-10 “But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. v9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” v10 And: “You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.”
Jesus Christ called Himself God:
• John 5:17 “But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” v18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.”
• John 8:58-59 “ Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM**.” v59 Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” (**”I am” was the name that God used to describe Himself in Exodus 3:14 “And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.'””)
• John 10:30-33 “”I and My Father are one.” v31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. v32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” v33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.””
• Revelation 1:8 “”I (Jesus Christ v5) am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.””
• Revelation 22:12-13 “”And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. v13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.””
David called Jesus Christ God:
• Matthew 22:43-45 “He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying: v44 ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”‘? v45 “If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?””
Isaiah called Jesus Christ God:
• Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
• Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Jeremiah called Jesus Christ God:
• Jeremiah 23:5-6 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. v6 In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

• Luke 2:10-11 “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. v11 “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.”
A blind man called Jesus Christ God:
• John 9:35-38 “Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?” v36 He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” v37 And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” v38 Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshipped Him.”
Scribes acknowledged that to say what Jesus Christ said implied that He was God:
• March 2:5-7 “When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” v6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, v7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”” (The reader is left with a decision: Is Jesus blaspheming? Or is Jesus God? Surely, the writer of this Gospel, Mark, is insinuating that Jesus is, in fact, God, rather than a blasphemer!)
Thomas called Jesus Christ God:
• John 20:28 “And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!””
John called Jesus Christ God:
• John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. v2 He was in the beginning with God.”

Peter Called Jesus Christ God:
• Acts 10:34-36 “Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. v35 “But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. v36 “The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ–He is Lord of all–.”
• 2Peter 1:1 “Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
Paul called Jesus Christ God:
• Acts 20:28 “”Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.”
• Romans 9:4-5 “who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; v5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.”
• Philippians 2:5-6 “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, v6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God.”
• Colossians 1:16-17 “For by Him (Christ v13) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. v17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”
• Colossians 2:9 “For in Him (Jesus Christ v6) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”
• 1Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.”
• Titus 2:13 “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

• Hebrews 1:8 “But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.”
The above verses/passages are examples in the Bible. It shows that the Christian belief that Jesus Christ is God is not a misinterpretation of two or three passages, nor is it based on one or two obscure passages. This subject is in the Old Testament and emphasized the New Testament. There is clearly a pattern of verses attesting to Jesus Christ being truly God (which is never said about anyone else in all of the Bible). He is uniquely God and man.
